چکیده
This paper is devoted to studying the effect of volumetric radiation on coupled convection and heat transfer in a participating two-dimensional enclosure with emitting absorbing scattering medium which crucial criterion design built thermal environment. Radiative information gotten by resolving RTE (the radiative equation) means CVFEM Control Volume Finite Element Method). Temperature, density velocity fields are calculated using mesoscopic two double population lattice Boltzmann approach. Results validation results existing works literature proposed approach was found be numerically stable, efficient accurate.

Numerical quantification of coupling effects for radiation-conduction heat transfer in participating macroporous media: Investigation of a model geometry
Radiative-conductive heat transfer in porous media is usually investigated by decoupling the heat transfer modes and solving the volume-averaged continuum equations using effective transport properties. However, both modes are naturally coupled and coupling effects might significantly affect the results. We aim at providing quantitative understanding of the coupling effects occurring in a model...
متن کاملNumerical Investigation of Flow behavior and Heat Transfer Characteristics inside Herringbone Microfin Tube
A numerical investigation is carried out for single phase flow behavior and heat transfer characteristics inside herringbone microfin tube by using a commercial CFD code FLUENT. It solves the three-dimensional NavierStokes equations in strong conservation form. Turbulence closure is provided by the standard k- turbulent model with enhance wall treatment. Numerical results showed that herringbo...
متن کاملA Numerical Modeling for Natural Convection Heat Transfer in Porous Media With Generated Internal Heat Sources
In this paper a numerical method is used to study the unsteady state natural convection heat transfer within a confined porous media with uniform internal heat generation. The governing equations based on the Darcy model and Bossiness approximations are solved, using the finite difference Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI) method. The developed program was used to simulate natural convection ...
متن کاملHeat Transfer Based Numerical Investigation of Aircraft Cabin Environment from Various Inlet Conditions
A numerical investigation was conducted to study the heat transfer in an aircraft cabin and the effects of air distribution under different angle and inlet velocity conditions. The Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes equations and the low Reynolds number turbulence model were used to simulate the airflow in the cabin. Mathematical statistics was used to process the relevant data, and statistical re...
متن کاملA numerical investigation of heat transfer cardiac output measurements
Measurement of cardiac output is often investigated using a technique based on hot-film anemometry. Here, we discuss a modification to hot-film anemometry, which involves a cylindrical heating element mounted flush on the surface of a typical Swan-Ganz catheter. In contrast to traditional thermodilution, the method discussed here has the potential to allow continuous monitoring of cardiac outpu...
